Jess Richardson, MPH
Jess is a research coordinator at the Center for Health Equity where she manages multiple projects aimed at reducing health burdens and cancer risk in youth and young adults. She has an MPH from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSPH in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Her main research interest is equity and justice for vulnerable or underrepresented populations.
Her public health work experiences span from managing an urban farm and food access program to discovering the genetics of a hereditary neuropathy and partnering with injection drug users to change perception and policy surrounding abscess risk and treatment.
Outside the office, she enjoys backpacking, climbing, reading, and coaching pee-wee soccer.
