Mayte Cruz, MPP
Mayte Cruz is a Project Coordinator at the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research and the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity with experience in program evaluation. In this role, Mayte helps implement research activities of colorectal cancer-research projects within Federally Qualified Health Centers in the San Fernando Valley and South LA.
Prior to joining UCLA, Mayte worked as an analyst for Social Policy Research Associates, where she worked on evaluations of federally-funded workforce development initiatives, human services, and racial equity and education initiatives. Her research interests include health equity, education, and workforce development to support communities of color. Mayte received her Master of Public Policy degree and her bachelor’s degree in International Development Studies and Spanish from the University of California – Los Angeles.
