Dr. Thomson is an internal medicine physician with a strong background in health policy and population health. She graduated from the University of Georgia Honors Program as a dual undergraduate-graduate student, earning a degree in economics from the Terry College of Business along with a certificate in global health and a master’s degree in health policy and management. She received her medical degree from Mercer University and completed her internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Dr. Thomson is passionate about expanding colorectal cancer prevention, strengthening patient engagement, and advancing quality improvement in clinical care.
