Christopher Johansen, PhD, MPH


Christopher Johansen, PhD, MPH, is a Cancer Epidemiology Postdoctoral Research Scholar at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He has been involved in various cancer disparities research projects at UCLA. Dr. Johansen earned his doctoral degree in Health Promotion Sciences from Claremont Graduate University, and his MPH from San Diego State University. His research interests are health disparities and chronic diseases (e.g., obesity, cancer). Dr. Johansen is committed to using his insights as a first-generation Latino researcher to address health disparities in cancer and obesity risk among racial and ethnic minority populations
