Djosy Charles, MS
Djosy Charles is a Project Associate for the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity, Center for Cancer Prevention & Control Research, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, and Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. She graduated from the University of Southern California with both her Bachelor of Science in Global Health and Master of Science in Global Medicine with an emphasis on health care management, epidemiology, and health care delivery.
Her experiences and interests lie at the nexus of public health and social justice. In her role as a Project Associate, Djosy supports multiple health disparities research projects, conducted in collaboration with community partners such as safety net clinics and schools. Additionally, Djosy assists in the planning and implementation of research activities at UCLA and community partner sites, coordinating and managing data collection activities. She has been involved in research projects focused on colorectal cancer screening.
Prior to joining the Center, Djosy worked as a Research Assistant/Data Manager at UCLA Health in which she performed administrative functions of an oncology research unit and Djosy has experience working as a Research Study Recruiter through All of Us Research Program, a national precision health initiative focused on improving health and treating disease.
