
Patti Harvey, RN, MPH, CPHQ
Patti Harvey is Senior Vice President, Medicare Clinical Operations and Population Care, Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, Inc. She is an executive director for Kaiser Permanente’s Care Management Institute and will continue to co-chair the National Quality Committee. In close partnership with The Permanente Federation, The Permanente Medical Groups and the Kaiser Permanente regions, Harvey oversees programs that support the development and implementation of the national Medicare Clinical Care Delivery Strategy and members’ total health. She also has executive accountability for Patient Care Services and manages the executive leadership over Kaiser Permanente Southern California continuing care areas. Ms. Harvey has been with Kaiser Permanente since 1997 and was previously the senior vice president, Quality and Risk Management, Patient Care Services and Clinical Operation Support, in Kaiser Permanente Southern California. In that role, she directed the programs, policies and procedures that ensured high-quality patient care and safety to the 3.7 million Kaiser Permanente members in Southern California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in public health with a health services management concentration from the University of California, Los Angeles. Ms. Harvey completed post-graduate executive leadership course work at the University of North Carolina and at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She has been certified as a health care insurance executive by America’s Health Insurance Plans. Harvey also completed Patient Safety Officer training and Intermountain Healthcare’s Advanced Training Program.
