Tiana Hoang
Tiana Hoang is an undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Society, with minors in Asian American Studies and Global Health. As a Student Assistant for the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research, she helps improve Center visibility, curates health education and promotion materials, assists with research projects, and assists planning the Center’s annual symposium.
A daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, Tiana’s interests lie in addressing health disparities by means of effective health communication and culturally competent care. Following graduation, Tiana plans to pursue her Master of Public Health in Health Policy. Outside of her studies, she is an enthusiast of film, volleyball, live music, and her cat, Mây.
