Vivian Le is an undergraduate student assistant at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and the Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research. She is a third-year student majoring in Human Biology and Society at the University of California, Los Angeles. Having grown up in Portland, Oregon and now studying in Los Angeles, Vivian developed a strong interest in health equity after observing differences in healthcare access and outcomes between the two cities. Through her major, she has explored the complexity and intersectionality of health disparities, with a focus on how social, economic, and structural factors shape health outcomes. Her research interests include Vietnamese immigrant health and occupational health. At the Center, Vivian assists in developing community outreach materials, event planning and increasing the Center’s visibility. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading romantasy books, and attending concerts.
