FORTE is a national colorectal cancer prevention study that aims to answer the following question: Should people who have small and benign colon polyps removed during colonoscopy have a repeat colonoscopy exam in 5 years or in 10 years? This study is needed because the best strategy for the timing of a repeat colonoscopy is not known for people with small polyps.
