Ernesto Sosa, M.S.W., M.P.H.

Director of Community Programs


Ernesto is the Director of Community Programs. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Health. Since then, his work has focused on health disparities and community health research, with a specific interest in promoting lung and colorectal cancer screening in the Latinx community. He was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and attended the University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate degree in Sociology and Psychology.

At our Center, Ernesto leads efforts to develop, strengthen and maintain community partnerships and ties with community stakeholders. He directs outreach activities to implement programs that promote health equity. He meets with various community organizations and attends numerous community events to help disseminate culturally and linguistically relevant health education materials.
