Esmeralda Limeta, B.A.

Health Educator


Esmeralda (Esme) Limeta was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and graduated from Beloit College with a BA in Public Health. She is a Health Educator for the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and the UCLA Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research. As part of her responsibilities, Esme assists with creating educational materials and leads initiatives on cancer prevention education for Southern California communities. Esme is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and will graduate in June 2024. In her past roles, she collaborated with clinics, non-profits, unions, worker centers, and community-based organizations to create health education curricula that are culturally appropriate for low-wage and Indigenous workers.
