Nahyaab Shaikh, M.P.H.

Health Educator


Nahyaab Shaikh is a Health Educator at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity. Nahyaab attended California State University, Los Angeles to attain his Bachelor of Science in Public Health. As an undergraduate student, Nahyaab interned as a Health Educator at CSULA’s Student Health Center, developing and delivering workshops to students on various different health topics. He then went back to CSULA to complete his Master of Public Health degree. In his previous roles, he coordinated healthcare for Medi-Cal patients and worked as a Health Educator to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within Los Angeles County.
At the Center for Health Equity, he helps create, disseminate and present health education materials for communities within Los Angeles County. He also conducts community outreach at various community health fairs and collaborates with different health agencies to optimize health education reach and impact.
