Project Coordinator


Smriti Abraham is a Project Coordinator focused on promoting cancer screenings and tobacco control in Southern California communities for the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Equity and the UCLA Center for Cancer Prevention and Control Research. She graduated from Grand Valley State University’s School of Public Health with an MPH specializing in Epidemiology. Prior to working at UCLA, she worked at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services providing program management for the State’s COVID Response Team.

Smriti grew up in Michigan and received a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Grand Valley State University. She has interests in chronic disease, infectious disease, and emergency management. In her free time, she enjoys going to flea markets, exploring different bookstores, and trying new restaurants.
